PWEA Committee Excellence Award

Description:  This award is presented to any standing or ad hoc committee of the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association in recognition of outstanding service to the Association. 
 
Award Criteria: Criteria for the selection of this award will consists of the following:
 

  1. Active committee, meeting at least twice in the last 12 months.
  2. Representation at 4 of the last 6 Board meetings.
  3. Reviews annually and maintains a committee roster of active members.
  4. Actively promotes the mission of the Association.
  5. Has achieved all of its responsibilities found in the By-Laws and the Policy, Procedure and Process Handbook.  Or, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, has performed in an outstanding and exemplary way as to promote the water quality profession and PWEA.

 
Eligibility: This award is available to any committee; managerial, technical or ad hoc.  There is no limitation on the frequency of receiving this award.
 
Nomination Process:  Nominations from the general membership must be received at the Association's Administrative Office no later than December 31st.  The Executive Committee will evaluate the nominations and make their recommendation(s) to the Awards Committee no later than March 1st of each year.  The Awards Committee will make the final selection(s).

Description of the Award:  Each committee member will receive a Certificate of Award personally signed by the Association President.  In addition, the Committee's picture will be included in both the Annual Awards book and the Keystone Water Quality Manager magazine.  The Awards booklet will list only the committee's name.  The magazine will identify each Committee member.
