David A. Long Memorial Educational Service Award
 
Description:  This award was established in honor of Dr. David A. Long in recognition of his lifelong service and dedication toward the education and training of wastewater and water treatment plant operators and environmental professionals. 
 
Award Criteria: This award is presented to individuals who distinguish themselves through their efforts and contributions to the education of water quality professionals.
 
Eligibility:  The individual recipient must be a current member in good standing of the PWEA and demonstrate current or past status as an instructor in a bona fide and PA DEP recognized training program in the field of water quality.
 
Nomination Process:  The PWEA Training Committee will review all nominations and will send a recommendation(s) to the Awards Committee; the Awards Committee is responsible for making final selection of award recipient.
