This course is the third of eight that uses the “Wastewater Fundamentals I, Liquid Treatment” textbook, as training in preparation to take the Pennsylvania wastewater operator certification exam. This textbook was prepared by the Water Environment Federation and the Association of Boards of Certifications. Content of Course #3 includes: Fundamentals of Biological Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Ponds. The target audience includes: Individuals preparing to take the wastewater operator exam or interested in a basic review of wastewater treatment.
PWEA uses AnyMeeting webinar software. After the registration fee is paid, the registrant will receive a webinar invitation email from the AnyMeeting software. The registrant will need to download the AnyMeeting App in order to participate in the webinars (https://www.anymeeting.com/AccountManager/DownloadInstaller.aspx) OR they will be able to link to the webinars using the Chrome web browser (no other browser will work). The link is unique to each registrant, and should not be shared with anyone else. Registrants will also be provided with a phone number and an access code so they can participate in the webinars by phone with the instructor at the scheduled time. The weekly webinar portion is scheduled to take two hours. Registrants will have an opportunity to ask the instructor questions.
In order to receive an attendance transcript and/or PA DEP contact hours, participation in the entire length of each webinar is required. The schedule for Course #3 is shown below. Participation in the webinars will be tracked by the AnyMeeting software.
